**Job Description: Organizational Development Assistant Manager / Manager**

Portfolio: Youth Management, Volunteer Management, NS Development Management

Position Overview:
As an Organizational Development Officer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance of MRC. You will be responsible for identifying, planning, and implementing strategies to support organizational growth, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
**Organizational Management**:

- Identify and manage areas for improvement and growth of the organisation as a whole.
- Design and implement change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes, such as restructuring, mergers, or process improvements at all level.
- Develop communication plans to effectively convey changes and garner support from employees at all levels.
- Create and implement professional development programs to enhance stakeholder skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
- Identify training needs and coordinate workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities to foster continuous learning.
- Work closely with NHQ department heads, Chapters and Branches to identify performance gaps and develop targeted solutions to enhance effectiveness.

**Strategic Planning**:

- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement short-term and long-term organizational development strategies and plan aligned with MRC goals.
- Formulate actionable plans to drive change, foster innovation, and enhance overall performance.

**People Management**:

- Delegate tasks based on team members' skills, interests, and workload capacity.
- Provide guidance and support as needed, while also allowing autonomy and ownership.
- Mediate discussions and find solutions that promote collaboration and a positive work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members and conduct regular performance review.
- Assess the team's workload and capacity to ensure balanced work distribution.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management detailing progress, outcomes, and recommendations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Social Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Policy Studies or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in organizational development, change management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Project Management Cycle, People Management, Leadership Skills and Humanitarian Practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholder at all levels.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis, reporting, and project management.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM4,200.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
