- The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices. - Develop and maintain a close relationship with Sellers
- Strategise, develop & deliver strong pitches to Sellers on Shopee offerings and proposed solutions across the online sales cycle
- Analyse Sellers’ progress, activities, sales performances and growth projection to drive Sellers’ revenue growth in Shopee
- Identify market gaps and manage pricing strategy, product assortment, and stock availability of Sellers in the category
- Negotiate deals with Sellers and curate Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) for various campaigns, promotions, online marketing, and media as required
- Secure exclusive partnerships for key campaigns (e.g. 9.9/ 11.11) and analyse the effectiveness of their campaign participation
- Execute the agreed plan and follow up with Sellers on their commercial growth
- Work closely with internal teams (eg: marketing, merchandising) to optimise the visibility and credibility of Sellers

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferred but not limited to Business, Commerce, Marketing
- Meticulous and strong analytical skills to derive decisions and recommendations (proficiency in Excel Pivot Table and Vlookup is an added advantage)
- Effective presentation skills, backed by good business acumen
- Enjoy challenges and remain flexible in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
- Proactively engage, influence and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Innovative problem-solving skills, able to dissect problems and implement solutions accordingly
- Passionate to learning and working with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the e-commerce/ technology space
- Excellent command of English, and the ability to converse fluently in other languages (e.g.: Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) will be an added advantage to communicating with stakeholders across the region
- Open to flexible work arrangements depending on campaign and business needs
