Lead end-to-end tendering processes, ensuring compliance and precise cost calculation for optimal project outcomes.
- Calculate construction costs, analyse implications, and optimise budget allocations effectively.
- Prepare and interpret technical contracts, tender specifications, and drawings to align with project requirements. Evaluate subcontract interim and final claims, negotiate favourable terms, and manage claims throughout the project lifecycle.
- Administer side orders of materials, machineries, and supplies efficiently to meet project timelines.
- Perform precise quantity take-offs for accurate project assessment and provide essential support in procurement activities.
- Lead pre/post-contract negotiations, submit progressive claims, and oversee final accounts settlement.
- Attend to site valuation, verify subcontractor claims, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to procurement regulations, provide strategic leadership, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency.
- Integrate innovative approaches to continuously improve overall procurement and tendering strategies, fostering efficiency and adaptability in a dynamics industry landscape.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools. Understanding of construction and heavy machinery specifications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to analyse complex tender documents and procurement data.
- Must be willing to pay frequent visits to project sites for effective collaboration and understanding of on-site requirements
- 20 years’ experience in tendering and procurement roles

**Salary**: RM12,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
