**Position Title**
- Assistant Manager, Quality Management & Compliance Monitoring

**Reports To**
- Chief Operating Officer, MAB Academy

**Role Purpose**
- The role is a Nominated Post Holder (NPH) approved by CAAM. The primary role is to verify, by monitoring activities in the field of training, that the standards as established by the ATO and any additional requirements of the CAAM are being carried out properly. To ensure smooth operations and compliance with applicable policy, procedure and processes for each key result area for MAB Academy training team. Main advocate and resource for all governance of training, learning and development-related matters, including strategic plans in meeting CAAM and SIRIM quality requirements.

**Key Accountability**
- Responsible for ensuring that the quality system (QS) is properly documented, implemented, maintained and continuously reviewed and improved.
- To improve and stabilise the training process and to identify and avoid, or at least minimise, issues that lead to problems.
- To continuously ensure that standards are adhered to throughout the training process by introducing various checkpoints and controls.
- To introduce a system of audits to ensure that documented policies, processes and procedures are consistently followed.
- To establish and implement QA policies, processes and procedures acceptable to the CAAM granting the approval, which ensures that training and instructional practices comply with all relevant requirements.
- To ensure organisational policies, processes, procedures and resources that underpins commitment to achieve excellence in product and service delivery through the implementation of best practices in quality management.
- Establish policies and processes on Instructors scheduling and deployment in compliance with regulatory and business requirement.
- Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholder(s) for input prior to submission of final procedures / process draft for review and approval.
- Build organisational resources and governance, to meet Company's requirements and aligning to the Quality Management System
- Develop and manage Academy's planning, policies and strategies with specialisation in Learning & Development.
- Establish and assure that a Quality System is in place to meet the requirements of SIRIM and Civil Aviation Malaysia (CAAM) as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and other Aviation Authorities
- Plan and control centralized qualifications and training records for the Academy’s team member & implement work processes for each key result area.
- Supervise creation and maintenance of Staff and Trainee’s training records to ensure records maintained are as per CAAM’s contents list, training documents compiled and filed according to policy in MABA Training & Procedures Manual.
- Assesses and analyses the feedback from training to ensure the effectiveness of ATO's trend analysis, standardization, and quality control program.
- Design, develop, review and maintain documentation for the QMS (SIRIM ISO and ATO) that is appropriate for the recertification of Standards
- Maintain the currency of Quality Management System and certification form a recognised national body.
- Ensure zero/single audit findings
- Manage audit program and ensure effective implementation and maintenance.**Qualification**:

- A bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or in a related field**Years of Service**
- At least 6 - 7 years' working experience, including in a role as a quality assurance specialist, or a similar compliance monitoring role.
