**Job Description and Requirements**
The Synopsys Penang office houses the FAE team and the SLM team.
- As the site expands from 10 to 36 people in the last 2 years, we require an admin that can join our team.
- The roles and responsibilities include
- **Office administration**
- receptionist service
- receive post and packages
- Manage shipping of boxes, packages and pallets using Fedex, DHL and other shipping partners
- Help book and arrange meetings and visits, including for external visitors
- Ordering and managing of office supplies
- Arranging team lunches, birthday celebrations, Synopsys Live events, stock pantry
- Set up office for new hire
**Supporting local functions**
- Assist with office service provider (ADASS) to track office maintenance
- Assist Site lead on facility related topics, and collaborate with Vietnam facilities for a suitable office relocation site
- Collaborate with other functions in Synopsys (finance, facilities, HR) on translations when needed
- Helping local teams on event organization, particularly SNUG
- Assist IT in managing server room temperature
**Requirements**:
- Fluent in Malay an English, both spoken and written
- The role is a mix of classic office admin functions with the new modern digital environment, where working in Office Tools and Teams is a natural part of everyday work.
- Basic experience in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) is necessary, as this is our primary communication and collaboration platform.
- Deeper knowledge of e.g. Excel is a plus, as it would open up for more efficient handling of many things.
- Good interpersonal and time management skills
- Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment.
