Purchasing Store Officer

Purchasing Cum Store Officer is responsible for supporting business operations by ordering products or materials that agree with their employer brand. Their duties include maintaining relationships with suppliers, vendors or wholesalers, placing orders for products based on current inventory needs and tracking shipments from manufacturing.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepares, edits and maintains purchase order.
- Oversees bidding process and prepares documentation for price quotes and bids.
- Processes all orders, prepares daily billing, incoming purchases for inventory control and payment.
- Maintains files and records of materials.
- Purchases commodities within the assignee's limits.
- Audits monthly accounting reports and corrects discrepancies with Account Payable.
- Serves as liaison between internal staff and external agencies and vendors.
- Responds to internal and external order inquiries and purchasing policies and procedures.
- Acts in absence of buyer to research and place orders when necessary.
- Review accuracy of information required for all financial transactions on and ongoing basis.
**Requirement**
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Self-motivated, resourceful and a team player.
**Salary**: RM1,600.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
