Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities: '¢ Assemble, verify and match invoices for payments '¢ Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices '¢ Key in and upload invoices into system '¢ Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records '¢ Reconcile accounts payable transactions '¢ Maintain accurate records to ensure payments are up to date '¢ Verify and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues '¢ Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries '¢ Provide supporting documentation for audits Education and Experience '¢ knowledge of accounts payable '¢ knowledge of general accounting procedures '¢ proficient in data entry and management '¢ Preferably 1-2 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
