(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) Looking for a Chef De Cuisine - Japanese Cuisine for a 5* luxury hotel

About the Role:
As a Chef De Cuisine - Japanese Cuisine, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Outlet kitchen with emphasis on quality, presentation within the guidelines of the standardized menus and employee training.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the Restaurant kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel's SOPs and standardized menu guidelines.
- Helps create innovative/modern Japanese cuisines that match with the Restaurant concept
- Attend meetings with Executive Chef to discuss future business strategy and review ongoing action plan progress, and other departmental meetings as required.
- Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs.
- Ensure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelines.
- Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen team.
- Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.

Qualifications:

- Previous leadership experience in the culinary field required
- Previous work experience in a 5-star hotel or renowned up-class Japanese restaurant with good standards.
- Preferably Japanese Speaker

- Basic Salary: MYR 18,000 - 20,000 Monthly
