- Responsible for payroll approval and processing function to ensure on time and effective delivery within the Global Shared Services environment.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.
- Validate payroll report, preparation of payment documentation, pay-slip and statutory reports.
- Extensive knowledge in HR Lifecycle in order to track hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
- Attend employees and client's payroll queries.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of payroll processing function in accordance with payday timeline.
- Complete and support for EOY tax process for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Turkey.
- The incumbent is responsible for maintaining compliance with government regulations (state, and foreign tax authorities), finance governance & procedures, auditing payroll, payment processes and tax filings with the system or another platform as directed by our Finance Manager. Besides, working on developing and maintaining written departmental policies & procedures, enforcing adherence to payroll, payment policies and internal controls.

**Requirements**:

- Related Payroll processing experience (preferred) for Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand and Turkey
- Experience in working in Regional or Shared Service Hub would be an added advantage
- Accountable and willing to take ownership of job assigned and ready to work under pressure.
- Positive attitude, fast learner, independent and good team player.
- Ability to maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality, professionalism and objectivity
- Ability to Lead and train
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with google suite of offerings
- Experience with accounting systems and knowledge of accounting practices
- Sound financial knowledge and reporting ability
- Organized individual
