Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Director, Employee Services located in Prai, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:

- Oversee the operation and management of hostel facilities for foreign workers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure adherence to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) and ISO standards across employee service facilities and processes.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders, including employees, management, regulatory bodies, and service providers.
- Oversee the transportation services provided to employees, including shuttle services, commuting arrangements, and transportation logistics.
- Manage in-house medical clinics, ensuring the provision of high-quality healthcare services to employees.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote employee wellness initiatives and provide timely medical assistance.
- Supervise cafeteria operations, including menu planning, food quality, and hygiene standards.
- Define the goals in areas of responsibility for short
- and long-term performance. Oversee implementation of goals so that our organization can continue to be best in class.
- Oversee management of administrative services.
- Coordinates with vendors to meet organizational needs.
- Manage vendor relationships. Responsible for managing negotiations and contractual agreements with new vendors.
- Improves program and service quality by devising new processes/procedures; updating and evaluating results.
- Completes special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring and evaluating results.
- Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA is preferred.
- Typically requires 7 years of progressively advancing administration experience, including a minimum of 5 years of human resources administration management experience.
- Ability to work with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers and vendors to maximize mutual benefit.
- Proven experience in managing employee services or related functions, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of hostel management, healthcare services, transportation logistics, and food service operations.
