Technical Support Specialist

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to POS hardware, software, and network systems to ensure timely resolution and mínimal disruption to business operations.
- Guide customers through troubleshooting steps specific to POS systems, ensuring a clear understanding and effective problem resolution tailored to their needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, technical solutions, and support processes, with special attention to POS-related issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address recurring technical issues in POS systems, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and product enhancements.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in technical support roles, particularly within software or technology companies, with a focus on POS systems.
- Strong knowledge of POS hardware, software, and network systems, including familiarity with common POS platforms and peripherals.
- Familiarity with POS-specific networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), as well as integration with payment processors and other third-party services.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues specific to POS systems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to convey POS-related technical concepts clearly and concisely to a diverse audience.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and support, particularly in the context of POS solutions where downtime can impact business operations significantly.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of POS-specific knowledge bases, FAQs, and support documentation to empower customers and enhance self-service capabilities in this specialized area.
