Technical Sales Manager

[RN] Our client is a chemical manufacturer of formaldehyde, adhesive resins, hardeners, and fillers.
**Required to liaise with china partner, mandarin required.**
**Job Requirement**
1.1 Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines.
1.2 Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in the chemicals and/or wood base industry.
1.3 Good English language skills and ability to speak Mandarin & other Chinese dialects.
1.4 Flexibility to respond to changing customer and market requirements.
1.5 Independent, assertiveness, team player and high commitment.
1.6 Excellent communication skills, power of persuasion and negotiating skills.
1.7 Possess own transport and keen to travel widely (outstation & oversea).
- **Duties & Responsibilities**
- Fully in charge of developing Phenolic Tackifier Resin and grow the business.
- Assist the GM, Technical Sales & Support in export market and other specialty resins.
- Collaborating R&D works with R&D Department concerning development & improvement of products.
- Attend to customer complaints and provide trouble shooting guide.
- Attend to trial of improved or new product launching.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of customer products and processes and ensure the continuing sales support is provided.
- Monitor closely sales volume to achieve budgeted sales.
- Prepare customer visit reports and mill trial reports.
- Maintain the ISO documentation (customer satisfaction survey and customer complaint form) in Commercial Department.
- Identify, negotiate and win over new customers within the agreed targets for customers and provides appropriate presales support in the provision of responses to inquiries, preparation of quotes and the processing of sales orders.
- Participate & coordinate of oversea exhibition.
- Coordinate with the respective team to prepare forecast, manage inventory and ensure timely delivery to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Carry out market research, monitor competitors’ activities, conduct customer surveys and maximizes all opportunities to achieve sales growth and profit target of products in assigned area.
- To actively establish and develop relationships with existing and potential customers through commercial activities.
- To perform other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
