Manager, Brand Communication

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- To ensure the positive development of the adidas brand image through brand concepts in key categories, to support sustainable and profitable market share growth in the country by providing effective and efficient communication of key messages across all appropriate communication channels.- Experienced in building 360 integrated marketing communication plans, the Brand Communication Manager will take ownership of marketing plans and best-in-class executions to support business growth. This person will balance brand and category messages against channel (Wholesale, Direct-To-Consumer (DTC), Franchise, and eCom) specific requirements.- Execute the SEA Influencer and Athlete Strategy, taking into account relevance to the local market. Balance brand and category message against channel (Wholesale and DTC- Own Retail, Franchise, eCom) specific requirements. Support in Key City Attack Plans and Traffic Driving activities.- Key Responsibilities:
- Functional:
- Execute all the communication plans for the country, including but not limited to PR execution, ATL, BTL, social media, digital, and Sports marketing when needed
- Collate and input country campaign plans and needs into SEA plans
- Ensure Global / Regional marketing guidelines are upheld during execution of concepts to local market
- Strategize and Implement Brand Marketing Events
- Reporting of country communication trends, including competitor analysis
- Support Sales development by executing of appropriate brand communications support
- Own the Marketing Working Budget (MWB) and ensure translation into cost-efficient implementation across all appropriate communication channels and tools
- Track and report on the Brand communication portion of the Marketing Working Budget (MWB).
- Maintain close contact with sports agencies or clubs; as well as athletes and influencers
- Implement brand comms strategies and integrated marketing plans to support brand and campaign objectives
- Be the brand guardian to ensure all work produced is faithful to adidas’ brand guidelines
- Drive & execute the 360˚ communication & Influencer / Sports Marketing plans & campaigns
- Drive and manage creative/ brand/advertising/research companies in delivering quality and professional services Build efficient networks with opinion leaders (consumer/trade/media)
- Management of Promo Order at the country level.
- Support the control of existing asset agreements (product and servicing) & ensure timely and sufficient equipment support to Sports Marketing partners and own CAF system
- Key Person in Store Opening and Special Projects for localization and commercial projects
- Support Wholesale Activation by working closely with Wholesale Team to build brand awareness in Multi-brands / Specialist stores
- Own Commercial Promo Calendar across all channels
- Reporting
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities.
- Analyze reports to form insights to optimize and streamline strategies, activities, processes etc.
- Keep a pulse on developing industry/market/media & digital trends to ensure that the brand stays ahead of trends.

- English: Fluent written/ spoken
- Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing/Advertising or related course
- Business background will be an advantage
- Min 5 years’ experience with a mix of brand, consumer and trade marketing
- Ideally experience and exposure in Sports
- Media planning, digital marketing and budget tracking experience a plus
- Local market knowledge
