We are looking for a dynamic, energetic individual who would be able to work in an IT Service Desk environment within our Managed Services Department. Within the department, you will be working closely with 3 functional individual/ team (Resolver Group) which are the Service Desk Analyst (Level 1), Service Desk Onsite Engineer (Level 2), 3rd Party/Vendor (Level 3) while working alongside the Service Desk Manager through the Service Operations (ITIL) phase. Dependent upon your capabilities, you may have the chance to experience and be exposed to both Service Desk Analyst & Service Desk Onsite Engineer functional roles daily tasks or just to be focused on one of them.
Responsibilities / Job Scope
- Fulfil tasks set out by Service Desk Manager from the involved functional teams.
- Attend meetings and take minutes.
- Perform roles (Service Desk Analyst / Service Desk Onsite Engineer) according to business requirement at Service Desk Manager’s request.
- Provide 1st level of contact to end users in terms of Incidents and Service Request.
- Logs and tracks all incidents and requests from identification through resolutions stages using categorization for reporting.
- Applies skills to resolve all technical issues before assigning it to the next resolver group (Onsite Engineer / 3rd Party)
- Follow-up with resolver groups to ensure speedy resolution of tickets according to Priority (SLA).
- Perform documentation tasks by Creating/Updating How-To (User-based) documents and Technical Solution documents and thereafter upload to Confluence/Knowledge Base portal for review and approval by Service Desk Team Leader & Manager.
- Updates general knowledge of current corporate, division and facility specific product to efficiently resolve incidents or requests via first contact.
- Responsible for identifying shortcomings for implementing process improvements.
- Handling customers issues and requests with professionalism.
