**FUNCTION PURPOSE**
To ensure the shopping center operates efficiently and without interruption, in line with company standards, while enhancing satisfaction among tenants, customers, and employees. This role is critically responsible for the operational procedures of the center, management of outsourced services, and the safety and security of the building, its staff, and visitors.
**JOB PURPOSE**
- They will supervise the team robustly to control and monitor event marketing in common areas, ensuring organisation without disturbance or risk to our customers.
- They will oversee the performance of outsourced vendors and assist in solutions for an enhanced shopping experience.
- They will coordinate with insurance in the event of any incidents.
**OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE**
- Prepare and compile shopping centre weekly, monthly and ad-hoc operation reports.
- Respond to customer and tenant feedback and complaints regarding shopping centre operations.
- Act as a liaison for compensation and insurance claims, maintaining precise and timely records of correspondence with customers and tenants regarding incidents at the shopping center.
- Ensure that operations achieve peak performance and efficiency through the appointed outsourced vendors and in-house operations team.
- Implement a long-term asset maintenance plan to maintain the building in top condition.
- Serve as the general liaison for daily operational matters of the shopping centre.
- Oversee outsourced car park maintenance activities.
- Review and update all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), templates, and forms relevant to all departments under supervision.
- Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as required by Management, including relevant administrative tasks.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, statutory guidelines, and all pertinent company and EKOVEST group policies and procedures.
- Address incidents and complaints related to the shopping center, manage insurance claims, and oversee the restoration of damaged assets.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing or leasing for ad-hoc tasks.
**BUILDING BUSINESS COMPETENCE**
- Coach, train, and develop staff to ensure growth and achievement of goals.
- Create and/or revise Operations guidelines, standards, and procedures to align with company standards and legal requirements.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A minimum of a Diploma in any field with over two years of experience in the shopping centre or retail business. Applicants without formal qualifications but with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Fluency in the English language is a must.
- Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to deliver excellence customer service.
- A quick learner with a proactive approach and analytical mindset.
- Reliable, with a positive work ethic and the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to prioritize and multitask.
- Proficiency in computer use.
Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
