**Objectives of the Position**

Digitalization will be a true part of BASF’s DNA that creates new exciting customer experiences and business growth as well as drives efficiencies in processes. Global Digital Services is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our mission is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing digitalization projects (RPA, PowerApps, SAP, mobile app development, Data & AI) within the EMEA region. This role will require the coordination of cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Digitalization Specialist / Agile Transformation will have a strong understanding of digital technologies and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Moreover, within the specific you will also consult multiple teams to adopt agile methodologies across the organization in order to deliver high-quality products and services faster and more efficient.

**Main Tasks**
- Manage digitalization projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure that project goals and objectives are achieved.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in digital technologies, processes, and systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and ensure that digital solutions are aligned with their goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including project status, risks, and issues.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and emerging trends in digitalization.
- Develop and deliver training and education programs for stakeholders on digital technologies and processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Enabling and introducing agile way of working in the Product Family Digitalization EMEA
- Promote, guide and coach teams on how to get the most out of self-management and cross-functionality.
- Assist teams/area with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Is coordinating between different squads/guilds to resolve any escalation within the squads/guilds

**Requirements**:
Education
- Required: Professional and intellectual IT ability at university level - at least Bachelor's degree
- Preferable: certification in agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, LEAN)

Working Experience
- Documented experience based on IT resources management, within coordination with external; providers / suppliers and internal resources
- Experience within an independently performed, coordinated IT implementations

Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)
- Project Management skills
- Facilitation, moderation, presentation & mentoring skills
- Ability to partner with clients in a creative process that inspires their potential
- Regularly updating self with new digital technologies
- Experience in Agile frameworks and methods

Technical & Professional Knowledge (Additional)
- Familiarity with Digital technology - e.g.: RPA / automation, Power Platform, artificial intelligence
- Knowledge on SAP ERP system
