- Perform check in, check out, room assignment, room change procedure, new room reservation, bookings and ensures all data are completely recorded in the hotel system.
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Register guests by collecting necessary information (Contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Attend and resolve the guest's inquiries, complaint, and request promptly, and with courtesy.
- Manage cashier at the Hotel Front Office.
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- To perform closing audit after end of work shift
- To perform any other duties as requested by the superiors.
- Training will be provided for navigation of Hotel Systems and Online Booking Engines.
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- To perform closing audit at the end of the work shift
- Perform ad hoc duties as requested
**Job Requirements**
- Basic Language Proficiency (English & Malay)
- Able to converse in Mandarin is a plus
- Digitally savvy, good with using online software and mobile.
- Able to work on Shift Rotation Basis (Morning, Afternoon, Overnight, Mid-Morning)
- Minimum Education: SPM
- Good Customer Service Skills
- Responsible, Independent, Honest and Hardworking
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Training will be provided for navigation of Hotel Systems and Online Booking Engines.
- Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous.
- Well-presented and professional appearance.
- Ability to learn on the job.
**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
