Job Position: Assistant Export Sales Manager

Job Description:

  • Responsible for driving sales activities for all export products and ensuring the achievement of export sales targets by analyzing company objectives and negotiating prices to meet these goals. Maintain knowledge of competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
  • Maintain a network of company distributors for assigned territories and perform regular visits to sites to forecast sales volume for various projects. Stay updated on all product ranges to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Assist in preparing territory budgets, recommend suitable distributors for assigned regions, design organizational projects, and facilitate sales for these projects.
  • Develop objectives and goals for market sales and net revenue for all export activities, implement new product launches to achieve sales objectives, and manage merchandise for group brands.
  • Design required marketing and sales programs for assigned territories, maintain knowledge of all competitor products, and participate in various exhibitions and seminars to stay updated on the latest market trends.
  • Analyze market intelligence reports, identify new business opportunities to expand business, and maintain an efficient portfolio for these opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing departments to analyze market activities, manage communication with technical departments, and perform various tests on products to ensure optimal quality.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with all clients, supervise achievement of sales targets for assigned areas, and analyze customer requirements to prepare appropriate sales strategies.
  • Assist the Head of Department in designing budgets for all expenditures, plan trade shows according to customer specifications, and prepare strategies for customers to facilitate distribution.
  • Prepare contracts with suppliers and distributors in accordance with respective countries.
  • Provide training to team members and evaluate sales and service programs.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or Mass Communication or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industry, especially in export sales, marketing, business development related work in the food industry.
  • Demonstrate business development experience in applying business development principles for medium- to large-sized companies in similar industries.
  • Demonstrate application of market research and audit conclusions to decision-making.
  • Proven client and customer account management skills.
  • Ability to manage global/regional/country level assignments and projects.
  • Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities, especially in cross-country/- cultural interactions.
  • Demonstrate Entrepreneurial skills, strategic thinking, collaborative, and good communication skills.
