We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Inter Island Group team As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the fire protection sector.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level in the fire protection sector. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will report directly to the Regional Vice President – Sales and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and grow the business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the fire protection sector.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with distributors, resellers, and other stakeholders to expand market reach and enhance brand visibility.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert leads into long-term clients and strategic partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the fire protection sector.
  • Strong understanding of fire suppression systems, aerosol technology, and industry regulations (NFPA, UL, FM, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
