Sales Growth Strategist

Job Overview:
The Sales Growth Strategist will drive sales expansion by identifying and targeting potential clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a proactive approach in seeking new opportunities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to close deals effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend to customer inquiries on new and existing orders.
- Process Purchase Order (PO) from customer, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Work with Sales Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of orders, prioritizing efficient inventory allocation.
- Prepare delivery documents for local delivery and shipping documents for export orders.
- Coordinate with Logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Supervise Sales Coordinator on support activities, including stock maintenance and sales performance tracking.
- Monitor blanket orders from customers, planning deliveries to meet deadlines and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Follow up with existing customers on outstanding sales orders or forecasts before blanket orders expire.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly, enhancing overall customer experience.
- Conduct regular stock checks at warehouses to maintain accuracy.
- Generate monthly sales order reports and track blanket sales order progress.
- Filing all relevant documents related to sales order functions.
- Manage collection matters, including sending customer account statements and following up on overdue payments.
- Collaborate with Sales team and Manager to ensure seamless customer service.
- Set sales goals and develop strategies to achieve them, including call/visit plans.
- Research new prospects and generate leads.
- Engage with potential and existing customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Presentation and demonstration of products to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Prepare and send quotes and proposals to customers.
- Utilize software programs to manage the sales process.
- Maintain an updated customer database and contact list.
- Achieve sales targets and regularly review personal performance.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, conferences, and team meetings to stay updated on industry trends.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales or a similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a client-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Understanding of market dynamics and sales strategies.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
- Possession of own transportation for business travel.
Estimated Salary: RM60,000 - RM80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
