Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Analyst/Manager to serve as the first point of escalation between employees and the payroll vendor.

This role is responsible for managing payroll-related concerns, such as mistakes, extra runs, delays, and missing data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and employee satisfaction.

The consultant will act as an intermediary between existing payroll consultants and the broader payroll team, facilitating seamless communication and efficient resolution of payroll issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end payroll operation management services while meeting service levels and expected deadlines.
  • Perform vendor management tasks, including ensuring adherence to SLAs and participating in metrics reviews.
  • Provide advice and drive solutions for payroll operation issues that are escalated.
  • Manage payroll cycles, engaging internal stakeholders like HR, benefits, and other relevant departments.
  • Ensure risk management and compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Provide periodic payroll performance metrics and statutory reporting for management.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in payroll operations, payroll analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and vendor management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle payroll escalations efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Experience working with global payroll vendors is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in English language is required.
