Job Summary

Zurich 56 Company Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Policy Administration Manager to oversee the delivery of business-as-usual (BAU) processes for policy administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of assigned members to ensure the efficient and effective execution of policy administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Benefits Payment and Approval
    • Approve policy benefits payments or transactions up to the delegated authority limit for both individual and group servicing benefits.
  • Team Supervision and Management
    • Supervise assigned team members daily batch activities related to renewal invitations, premium renewal postings, lapsations, auto endorsements, policy benefits payments, and periodic notices/statements.
    • Manage and coordinate the team's activities to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Suspense Management
    • Manage and resolve suspense issues related to policy administration.
    • Prepare and analyze suspense reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping
    • Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed records of policy administration activities.
    • Produce reports as required by management to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
    • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new processes and procedures.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
    • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements and guidelines.
    • Support audit and compliance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including wealth planners, branches, and other departments.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Degree or diploma with relevant experience in life insurance or takaful industry.
    • At least 8 years of working experience in life insurance or takaful industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of life insurance or takaful industry.
    • Computer and system literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
