Strategic Business Development Manager for Global Food Industry

About this role:
We seek an experienced Sales Development Manager (SDM) to lead and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) across the APAC & US region. The SDM will focus on outbound lead generation in SaaS companies, aiming to onboard new merchants. Responsibilities include driving sales targets, optimizing outreach strategies, and ensuring high efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily management of the SDR team, ensuring high-quality lead sourcing and outreach across APAC & the US.
- Develop strategies to improve market penetration and merchant outreach coverage.
- Lead the team by setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing guidance on best practices for outreach and cold calling.
- Contribute by demonstrating sales techniques, creating personalized outreach templates, and optimizing workflows for better lead conversion.
- Manage a large pipeline of leads, focusing on achieving both efficiency and effectiveness in lead generation.
- Adopt a customer-centric approach, ensuring outreach strategies align with potential merchants' needs.
- Drive team culture, ensuring high energy, adaptability, and a focus on results.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in a SaaS environment, with a proven track record of managing sales teams or achieving high individual quotas.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated experience in outbound sales, including cold calling and personalized outreach.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, as well as managing a remote team.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills from APAC/US markets are a plus.
