Job Role
This position involves developing competitive products and prices to customers based on market analysis. You will source new products, maintain existing ones, and collaborate with suppliers on products and promotions. Work closely with managers on category planning, monitor inventory turnover and sales performance, and analyze data to support the merchandising strategy.
Skills and Requirements
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of buying experience in retailing or similar functions. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are required. Positive attitude, commitment, and ability to work independently are essential. Analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are also necessary. Own transportation and willingness to work at Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam are required.
