**Job Overview**
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven **Tour Operations & Business Development Manager** to lead and manage tour operations across global destinations, while actively driving business growth. This role requires a strong understanding of travel operations, a passion for delivering exceptional service, and a strategic mindset to grow the client base in a competitive market.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage tour operations across various destinations in alignment with client (agent) expectations and service standards.
- Drive new business acquisition to grow the customer base and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and maintain a strong customer database by identifying new prospects and fostering lasting relationships with existing clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities; provide insights and strategic recommendations to the Country Manager.
- Create and maintain destination marketing content, emphasizing unique selling propositions and tools to support clients and sales teams.
- Promote and upsell destination itineraries, new travel products, and activities to agents and clients.
- Conduct pre
- and post-season analysis, offering actionable recommendations for process and product enhancements.
- Review proposed itineraries and services from the sales team to ensure operational feasibility, profitability, and improved margins.
- Build and maintain strong networks and key client relationships across the travel industry.
- Lead familiarization trips, site inspections, and represent the company during client meetings.
- Resolve client concerns and service-related issues efficiently and professionally.
- Support senior management with special assignments and strategic projects as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum **7 years of sales experience** in the travel or hotel industry, ideally with a Destination Management Company (DMC) or travel agency background.
- Established network within the travel agent community is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record in sales development, customer relationship management, and meeting targets.
- In-depth understanding of travel operations and service delivery standards.
- Experience working with multinational or foreign companies is preferred.
- Highly motivated, mature, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
