Executive, Business Development

**Purpose of the role**:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving company revenue growth. The role involves market research, lead generation, client meetings, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
**Reports To**:
Business Development Manager / Head of Sales
**Working Relationships**:
Internal:
- All Departments, especially Cash Sales and BDU teams, Finance, Billing, Credit Control & Operations
- Safeguards Secure Solution Branches
External:
- Customer
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, social media, and other channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Generate leads and follow up on potential business prospects.
- Prepare and deliver business presentations, proposals, and pitches to clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales using CRM tools.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to represent the company.
**Formal Education**:
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
**Experience**:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
**Key Skills & Competencies**:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Good understanding of sales processes and business development strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
