JOB SUMMARY In general, an ERP Functional Consultant is responsible to understand business requirements and then transform them into a 'Business Process' in Vienna Advantage. A functional consultant connects the required module configuration logic that would cover all activities of a business process. The ERP Functional Consultant reports to the Managing Consultant. Job Overview A Functional Consultant must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented, able to work in a team environment and independently, and have the ability to solve complex problems. You will be Business-Value-Focused working closely with technical experts to deliver an optimized systems solution.. The Finance Functional Consultant is mainly responsible for designing, building and deploying VIENNA Advantage based ERP solutions. Supporting analysis and design in the Finance Module of the ERP, in close cooperation with the client's Finance team and in-house cross functional teams. Conducting structured testing internally and with users.. Ensuring stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements. Main Responsibilities Analysis of Blueprint Document and detailed understanding of the business requirements. Coordinate with the Technical Team for customization, configuration and development as per the Blueprint and Solution Design Document. Validate the report's requirements and coordinate with the Technical Team for development of reports. Validate the Reports in the system: balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and accounting framework guidelines. Validate Accounting Consequences for various financial transactions in the System. Perform Functional testing and Integration Testing. Prepare End user Training Documents. Provide training to end-users and sort out day to day queries of end users. Qualification and Eligibility 2 - 5 years of experience. Fresh graduates with the willingness to learn can be considered. Degree in any discipline, Diploma or Degree in Accountancy would be preferred. Multi-module ERP experience (e.g., general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, assets management, investment etc). Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders. Possesses strong organizational and task management skills. Possesses good analytical skills. Exhibits effective team skills. Ability to make decisions at the project team level and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis Skills Good Communication, Presentation & interpersonal Deep Functional Understanding of Financial Processes. Understanding of Finance modules like: General Ledger Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Cash Management Assets Management Procurement and Purchasing Multi ledger, multi currency management. Management and Legal Reporting, Bank Reconciliation. Product Costing
