Strategic Business Development Specialist

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with senior management to craft and execute business development strategies aimed at expanding the client base within industries utilizing ERP, cloud solutions, and digital transformation services.
- Conduct thorough market research, monitor industry trends, and analyze competitive landscapes to identify potential business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting, including partnerships with industry associations, targeted campaigns, and networking.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for solution consultants to present tailored ERP and digital solutions to SMEs and enterprise clients.
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, and support consultants in developing client-focused presentations and solution pitches.
- Drive the entire lead-to-order cycle: from initial engagement, presentations, negotiations, to deal closure and handover to account management.
- Support marketing initiatives, product roadshows, and client events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Provide timely business development reports, forecasts, and KPIs to management.
- Continuously identify ways to improve internal processes and deliver greater value to clients through innovative engagement strategies.
**Key Requirements**:
- Diploma or Degree in **Computer Science**, **Information Systems**, **Business Administration**, or equivalent work experience in IT Solutions or ERP Consulting environments.
- Minimum of **5 years** experience in business development, sales, or client engagement roles within IT consulting, ERP systems, or enterprise software solutions.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full business development lifecycle, including prospecting, presentations, negotiations, closing, and basic account management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive mindset.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- High adaptability, self-driven with mínimal supervision, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Proficient in **Microsoft Office Suite** (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle JD Edwards or similar) is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
