HR Generalist Consultant (Regional HR)

Provide HR leadership to support overall business objectives and HR initiatives. Ensure the delivery of HR services in compliance with all governance requirements and in line with all corporate HR initiatives and goals. Partners closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders in order to support business strategy and results across all HR domains including Labor & Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Change Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Workforce Management and Talent Acquisition.

HR Site Leadership - Provide overall Site HR Leadership for Dell Malaysia
- Create and drive the country HR strategy along with the Country leadership team in order to advance Country Engagement and Dell employment brand internally and externally with programs such as Great Place Work Initiatives, Employee Resource Groups & Employee Engagement programs
- Act as an expert and escalation point of any local HR issues
- Local Policy Development and approvals
- Provide valuable insights and inputs to HR COE functions, HRBPs on the Labor/Talent Market Analysis and Trends
- Ensure Business Continuity Response Plan & Crisis Management by partnering with relevant stakeholders.

Legal & Compliance Guardianship - Provide guardianship for Site HR Policies, Ethics, Legal Compliance & Governance
- Act as an advisor to internal HR stakeholders and Business Leaders on employment related laws and industrial relation matters
- Address escalations on ER/IR matters
- Support and Lead all Labor related compliance audits
- Partner with all other HR functions to further strengthen the site HR policies and practices around HR Compliance, Employee Experience, Employee Relations, Diversity & Inclusions & HR audits

Management Service/People Leader HR consultant
- Provide Consultative Service to People Managers on all HR matters and HR global programs to improve and upscale people manager’s capabilities and skills as an effective people leaders.
- Lead Marketing Campaigns to promote and increase MS adoption
- Come up Initiatives to Support Business Specific Management Service Consulting using HR Consulting Model
- Participate actively in the Regional Management Service Initiatives and Digital Solution Design

Workforce Management, M&A and Manage Service Deals Exercise
- Plan & Implement all Workforces related initiatives and exercise in compliance with local employment law and practices.

Global & Regional HR Project - Change Management
- Partner with various business leader and HR COE stakeholder in managing and supporting the change manager initiatives for a successful implementation and roll out of any global enterprise/regional projects.

Essential requirements
- Typically requires 12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Law, Business, IT or Science
- Solid HR Generalist, HR Shared Services and HR Business Partner experience in a fast past, dynamic, performance driven multinational business and shared services environment.
- Influencing skills to work with across leadership at local, regional and global level.
- Expertise on Singapore & South East Asia Countries employment law, Industrial Relations Acts and Practices.
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing various Employee Relations & Industrial Relation issues
- Familiar and good knowledge using HR data analytics in driving HR consultation/solution offerings to customers.
- Strong Project Management experience and ability to balance multiple projects
- Good team player, creative problem solver with a proactive personality
