**Job Summary**:
The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the procurement process within an organization, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services at competitive prices. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships with vendors while ensuring that procurement activities align with the company’s goals and standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation**:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for goods and services.

Obtain and analyze quotes and bids from suppliers.

Assess supplier performance based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
**- Purchasing & Order Management**:
Process purchase orders in accordance with company requirements.

Track orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate receipt.

Manage the flow of goods and materials, coordinating with internal teams to ensure inventory needs are met.
**- Negotiation & Contracting**:
Negotiate favorable terms and prices with suppliers.

Draft and manage contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Resolve any issues related to contracts, such as delivery delays or quality concerns.
**- Budget Management & Cost Control**:
Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring purchases stay within approved limits.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and work to implement more efficient procurement practices.
**- Compliance & Documentation**:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
**- Vendor Relationship Management**:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and continuous supply.

Address vendor performance issues and escalate where necessary to resolve problems.
**- Collaboration**:
Work closely with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, and logistics) to understand their procurement needs and coordinate efficient purchasing strategies.

Communicate procurement status, challenges, and updates to relevant teams.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.**:

- **Previous experience in procurement or purchasing is a plus.**:

- **Strong negotiation and communication skills.**:

- **Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.**

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in procurement is a plus.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and market trends

**Languages**:
1. Mandarin (Prefered)
2. English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
