What you'll be doing?
  • Analyze Industry Trends: Stay ahead by understanding market dynamics and identifying new growth opportunities in food ingredients and additives.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed company targets while expanding your customer base.
  • Identify New Business: Discover and pursue new business opportunities in your designated markets, driving growth and innovation.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with business partners and customers, ensuring long-term success.
  • Customer Engagement: Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions through regular visits and presentations.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new product developments, and regulatory changes to enhance your product knowledge.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform any additional tasks as assigned to support the team's objectives.
Who are they looking for?
  • Food Industry Experience: At least 3 years sales experience into food producers' background with proven track record in the food sector.
  • Educational Background: At least a bachelor's degree in food science or food technology, Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical) or equivalent to provide strong technical foundation.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay for effective communication with diverse clients and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in food ingredients, sales processes, communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Industry Network: Have strong and broad network of food customers is advantageous for business development.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders is a plus.
