Assistant Front Office Manager

Job Summary:
Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily operations of the front office department, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, excellent guest service, and effective coordination between front office staff and other hotel departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support
- Assist in supervising front desk operations, including reservations, check-in/check-out, and guest inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor front office workflow and address issues promptly.
- Guest Service & Satisfaction
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Assist in VIP guest handling and special requests.
- Staff Supervision & Training
- Assist in training, coaching, and scheduling front office staff.
- Motivate team members to achieve service excellence and departmental goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations under the guidance of the Front Office Manager.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records of room occupancy, revenue, and other front office reports.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
- Monitor cash handling and billing procedures to ensure accuracy.
- Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in front office operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Excellent problem-solving and guest service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
