We are looking for a proactive and market-savvy Business Development Executive to join our growing team at D&O Nutraceutical Manufacturing. This role is crucial in driving our OEM and corporate sales, expanding our product offerings, and aligning our innovation pipeline with customer and market trends. The ideal candidate will combine strong client management skills with strategic thinking and product development insight.


Job Scope & Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement & Account Management

  2. Act as the primary point of contact for both OEM clients and corporate buyers.

  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their long-term goals and needs.
  4. Conduct onboarding sessions and guide clients through D&O's OEM/ODM process.
  5. Market Research & Trend Analysis

  6. Research and monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer behavior across health food and wellness segments.

  7. Identify whitespace opportunities and unmet needs to propose new SKU or formulation directions.
  8. Work closely with R&D and product teams to transform market insights into innovative product proposals.
  9. Product Proposals & Upselling

  10. Proactively pitch new product ideas, packaging innovations, or function upgrades to existing clients.

  11. Encourage SKU expansion for current customers to boost revenue per client and improve retention.
  12. Craft compelling business proposals and presentation decks for both internal approvals and external pitching.
  13. Growth & Business Development

  14. Expand D&O's client base through strategic outreach, networking, and referrals.

  15. Participate in B2B exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to build the D&O brand.
  16. Explore partnerships or new distribution channels that align with D&O's market positioning.
  17. Public Relations & Representation

  18. Represent D&O professionally in client meetings, corporate presentations, or industry engagements.

  19. Assist in preparing promotional materials, client stories, and testimonials that support sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years experience in B2B sales, business development, or OEM/ODM roles preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Market knowledge in nutraceuticals, functional foods, or wellness is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
