Manager - Business Development

Key Responsibilities: -
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and innovative strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Continuously evaluate patient, corporate, and insurance performance metrics, while analyzing competitive landscape and market trends that could impact hospital positioning and growth.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans tailored to various market segments including corporates, insurance providers, government bodies, and NGOs.
- Plan and implement comprehensive digital marketing and social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, and drive patient engagement.
- Design and organize marketing campaigns and promotional activities to highlight new services, specialties, and facilities.
- Strengthen hospital's corporate identity through targeted events, sponsorships, and community outreach program.
- Build and manage relationships with corporate clients, insurance providers, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), General Practitioners (GPs), and affiliate partners to grow the hospital's business base.
- Facilitate the planning, coordination, and execution of partnerships and service agreements with business associates.
- Organize Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs, workshops, and symposiums for Resident and Sessional Consultants.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to support their engagement in business development initiatives aligned with hospital goals.
- Plan and execute patient-centric events, talks, forums, and health awareness campaigns to foster community trust and attract new patients.
- Plan, monitor, and analyze business development activities, ensuring alignment with the hospital's revenue and growth objectives.
- Plan and oversee press releases, media briefings, and crisis communications, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.
- Manage department resources, including budgeting, staffing, and operational planning to ensure effective use of manpower and financial resources.
Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the service industry.
- Prior experience in the healthcare sector is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Multi-lingual proficiency is an added advantage.
- People-oriented with a high level of initiative and a strong service mindset.
- Strong reporting skills with keen attention to detail, both verbal and written.
- Strong background in corporate branding and organizational identity development.
