About the role

Kumo Kumo Cheese Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and experienced Senior HR Officer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position based in Balakong, Selangor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our human resources strategies to support the continued growth and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and manage the full recruitment cycle - from job posting to onboarding and offboarding processes to attract, engage and retain top talent
  • Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and best practices to ensure compliance and the effective management of our workforce
  • Handle the complete spectrum of HR functions, including payroll and managing employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary procedures and grievance handling
  • Administering compensation and benefits programmes to reward and motivate our employees
  • Coordinating training and development initiatives to build the capabilities of our team
  • Providing HR advisory services and support to managers and employees on a wide range of people-related matters
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with all relevant employment legislation
  • Willing to travel/outstation when required to support new outlet openings and HR operational needs

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in fast-paced and dynamic environment such as retail, F&B or hospitality industry
  • Deep understanding of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage)
  • Proficient in HR information systems and data analysis
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field
