About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing construction contracts and ensuring the financial integrity of our projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for construction projects
  • Evaluating tenders, negotiating contracts, and managing contractual variations and claims
  • Monitoring and controlling project budgets, processing payments, and maintaining financial records
  • Providing cost advice and support to project managers and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies
  • Collaborating with the construction team to resolve issues and optimize project delivery

What we're looking for

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  • Excellent understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and quantity surveying principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
