Key Responsibilities

  • Human Resources Management
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management.
  • Draft and implement HR policies in compliance with Malaysian labor law.
  • Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Payroll & Compliance
  • Manage monthly payroll, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS), and tax submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with government agencies on HR-related matters.
  • Accounts & Finance (with Bukku SQL Account, AutoCount, ABSS (formerly MYOB)
  • Use Bukku accounting software to manage invoicing, expenses, and bank reconciliation.
  • Automate payroll entries into accounts and generate SST-compliant e‑invoices.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow statements, and expense tracking.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants.
  • Profit & Loss (P&L) Management
  • Prepare and review monthly P&L statements to track revenue, expenses, and net profit.
  • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual performance.
  • Provide management with insights on cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Ensure accuracy of P&L data for decision-making and compliance.
  • Full Set Accounts
  • Maintain complete accounting records including general ledger, trial balance, debtors/creditors ledgers, and fixed asset register.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow Statements monthly.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Handle statutory compliance for SST, tax filings, and audit requirements.
  • Ensure timely closing of accounts and submission to management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree/Diploma in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in HR and Accounts, with proven experience in full set accounts and P&L management.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor law and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in Bukku or similar accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, ABSS).
  • Ability to prepare and analyze full set accounts and P&L statements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
