Role Overview

We are looking for a capable and motivated Account & HR Executive who enjoys working in a stable environment and taking ownership of both accounting and HR functions. This role offers strong exposure to management, clear responsibilities, and the opportunity to play a key part in the daily operations of a well-established food manufacturing business.

You will be the backbone of our finance and HR functions — ensuring accuracy, discipline, and smooth operations while supporting the CEO with important tasks.


Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Finance
  • Manage full-set accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank recon, month-end closing).
  • Handle invoicing, payments, and daily accounting entries.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare financial and management reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits, taxation, and SST compliance.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and bankers when required.
  • Use and maintain accounting software.

2. Human Resources (HR)
  • Manage payroll, attendance, leave, and staff claims.
  • Maintain employee files and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
  • Support recruitment and onboarding.
  • Prepare HR documentation, letters, and internal communication.

3. Administration & Coordination
  • Oversee general office administration and factory-related paperwork.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, government agencies, and banks.
  • Assist in licence renewals, certifications, and regulatory documentation.
  • Prepare letters, reports, quotations, and documents for management.

4. Ad-Hoc Duties from CEO
  • Support the CEO with important ad-hoc tasks, project work, or operational matters.
  • Must be willing, flexible, and proactive in assisting when needed.

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in accounting and HR roles.
  • Proficient with accounting software and strong in Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of Malaysian HR and statutory regulations.
  • Responsible, organised, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a factory environment and interacting across departments.
