Job Description

We are looking for an intern to join our Logistics department which will provide you the unique opportunities for learning outside the academic settings. It can expose you to new tasks and help you learn goal-specific skills along the way.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing Delivery Orders by inputting details into the SAP system under supervision.
  • Support in liaising with customers to gather necessary shipping documentation.
  • Help ensure timely completion of shipping documentation for both inbound and outbound shipments, and assist in smooth handling of imports and exports.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to assist with coordinating customer shipping arrangements (via sea, air, or trucking).
  • Assist in coordinating with hauliers and forwarders for container details and documentation preparation.
  • Support warehouse team in coordinating stuffing arrangements as needed.
  • Help prepare shipping documents based on customer requirements.
  • Assist in organizing and managing shipping documents, such as BL types, Incoterms, and payer parties.
  • Support the verification of external invoices related to shipping liners, forwarders, hauliers, fumigation, and other services.
  • Assist in liaising with government authorities (e.g., customs) to ensure compliance with export procedures.
  • Support with liaising with other government bodies (e.g., for Phytosanitary Certs, Health Certificates, MITI DagangNet).
  • Help maintain an organized filing system for export shipping documents for easy retrieval.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Supply Chain, Logistics or any relevant field.
  • Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Offices.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork.
  • Having good time management.
  • Detailed oriented and able to work independently.
