is recruiting on behalf of a leading
IT human resource solutions provider
, specializing in supplying SAP consultants and other IT professionals across APAC. They deliver talent via contract-based and outsourcing arrangements, supporting clients on both short-term and long-term projects.

While SAP-related assignments form the core of their business, they also provide talent in areas such as software development and data engineering. With operations extending beyond Malaysia into India and the UAE, the company has built strong cross-border capabilities, including an Application Management Services (AMS) support centre in Malaysia.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
This role is both
strategic and hands-on
— requiring the successful candidate to design sales strategies, manage a team, and also drive business development as a player-manager.

Petaling Jaya, Malaysia (Domestic travel required)

Working Hours:
Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00 (with 1-hour lunch break)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with annual budgets.
  • Lead and manage the Sales Division (currently 10 staff).
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, particularly in SAP-related business.
  • Drive new business acquisition and actively participate in sales cycles.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment and Finance teams to ensure delivery and collection targets are met.
  • Provide timely reporting and updates to the Group MD.
  • Establish and maintain flexible systems to source talent domestically and regionally, including remote arrangements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced as Head of Sales or Sales Manager in the IT resource/outsourcing business, managing teams of 5+ staff.
  • Proven personal sales track record.
  • Sales experience in SAP resource business, AMS, or IT project delivery.
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Dynamics, Oracle, ServiceNow, Salesforce.
  • Strong existing network with SAP user companies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic leadership skills.
  • Business-level fluency in English.
  • Strong adaptability to cross-border business and multicultural environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience establishing or restructuring a sales division.
  • Cross-functional leadership (sales & recruitment).
  • Hands-on AMS or IT project management experience.
  • Experience in resource business utilizing multinational talent.
  • Broader sales experience across IT solutions beyond SAP.
