Overview:

The IT Sales Engineer is responsible for providing presales/ sales technical expertise to the Sales Teams and Customers during the sales process for ITO services and range of solutions.

This role will manage and document the activities required in qualifying, scoping and translating the Customer's business requirements into technical requirements and specifications.

The role will provide technical inputs for proposals and bids and will actively contribute towards the revenue growth of FUJIFILM Business Innovation Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and achieve sales targets and assigned KPI in IT Expert Services (ITES) and Hardware sales.
  • Actively working to uncover, qualify and propose technology services opportunities and solutions that add real value to FFBI customers.
  • Queries from internal and external stakeholders are responded to quickly and accurately
  • Articulate and present statement of works and solution design documents that are concise, well defined, and easily understood by FFBI customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with Customers, Sales staff, and FFBI operations teams
  • Provide consulting to customers where required
  • Assist with the creation of proposals and tender responses
  • Undertake discovery audits & service delivery discussions with potential customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Preferrable years exposure in IT services and hardware sales or related fields
  • Deep understanding of customers' business and technical requirements, handling customer technical related issues.
  • Proficiency in WAN & LAN networking products (Switch, Wireless Access Point, Router), AP, Endpoint Solutions, server management.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions and hardware.
  • Develop technical proposals, including solution specifications, diagrams, and cost estimates.
  • Knowledge of managed IT services and IT solutions
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
  • Having relevant IT certification would be an added advantage.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin for effective communication.
  • Capable of technical alignment, negotiation, and clarification with customers.
