Sourcing Executive

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Management
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery performance.
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and performance reviews.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent supply and quality.
- Support supplier development initiatives to improve capability and compliance.
2. Procurement & Negotiation
- Request and evaluate quotations (RFQs/RFPs) from multiple sources.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times to achieve optimal cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and procurement procedures.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery.
3. Cost & Data Analysis
- Perform cost analysis and benchmarking to identify savings opportunities.
- Track market trends, raw material cost fluctuations, and supplier capacity.
- Maintain sourcing databases and update cost comparisons for management reporting.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure supplier alignment on technical and quality requirements.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by sourcing new components and materials.
- Coordinate with logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth import/export and payment processes.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Identify cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
- Support sustainability and localization projects to optimize sourcing strategy.
- Assist in developing and maintaining sourcing KPIs (cost, quality, delivery performance).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of working experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of supply chain principles, cost structure, and supplier management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
