Position Overview

The Business Development & Partnership Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic business opportunities to drive revenue growth and strengthen the market positioning of our short drama platform. This role involves establishing partnerships with brands, agencies, media partners, and production houses, while creating innovative collaboration models to expand the platform's reach and monetization potential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Revenue Generation

  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with brands, agencies, and strategic partners.

  3. Develop and implement commercial strategies for advertising, sponsorship, and branded content.
  4. Negotiate and close partnership agreements that align with company objectives and revenue goals.

2. Partnership Management

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, production partners, and distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to design partnership-driven short drama formats and campaigns.
  • Ensure timely execution and delivery of partnership obligations to maintain high client satisfaction.

3. Market Development & Strategy

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop tailored proposals, partnership decks, and business presentations for prospective clients.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide strategic insights to support product innovation and market positioning.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, and operations) to support partnership execution.
  • Coordinate with finance and legal teams on contract negotiations, pricing models, and compliance.
  • Support senior management in achieving overall business development objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements:-

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, or media sales, preferably within entertainment, digital media, or advertising industries.
  • Strong network within brands, agencies, and media ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and partnership targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with tech-based B2C products will be an added advantage.
