The Payroll Assistant is responsible for supporting the payroll team in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employees' salaries and statutory contributions. This role involves data entry, payroll administration, and maintaining employee payroll records in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Fresh graduates with a strong interest in recruitment are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all employees.
- Ensure accuracy of attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and other payroll-related data.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in the HR/payroll system.
- Handle statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and ensure timely submission.
- Prepare payroll-related reports for management review.
- Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for payroll adjustments, reimbursements, and benefits.
- Support payroll audits and ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and company policies.
- Assist in year-end processes such as EA Form and PCB reconciliation.
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in payroll administration (fresh graduates may be considered).
- Familiar with Malaysia's payroll regulations, statutory requirements, and HR practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (e.g. SQL Payroll, AutoCount, Info-Tech).
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
