ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at NGAN YIN FOOD INDUSTRIES SDN BHD. In this full-time role based in Ipoh, Perak, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our customer base within the food industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and attending industry events , including oversea market .
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure new customers and increase market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional customer service and support
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business development initiatives
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote our products and services
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the food manufacturing / FMCG industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, securing, and growing new business accounts
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections
  • Proficient in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
