Title: Assistant Manager – Finance
Summary:
The Assistant Manager – Finance will be responsible for supporting the financial health and stability of the organization through effective financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance oversight. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze actual performance against budget, highlighting variances and providing insights.
- Develop financial projections to support strategic planning and business decisions.
- Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Support treasury functions including payments, collections, and fund management.
- Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal control policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to reporting deadlines.
Requirements:
- Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional qualification preferred (CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / MBA in Finance).
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or auditing.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4, RM5,000.00 per month
