As the Head of Business Development for APAC, you will be responsible for driving new and existing customer engagement across the region. You will manage relationships to develop new business opportunities, working closely with the production team to ensure operational effectiveness and product quality.

This is a hybrid role that requires market analysis, sales, account management, channel engagement, market expansion, and contract reviews, while ensuring customer product standards are met. You will identify new product opportunities and drive revenue growth.

This role involves travel across Asia, and engaging with customers face-to-face is essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Manage relationships with existing and new customers to identify business opportunities
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure operational effectiveness and product quality
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new product opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Travel across Asia to engage with customers and build relationships
Requirements
  • Business planning, sales, account management, and analytical skills
  • Experience in business development
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and travel as required to achieve success
  • Experience in plastic component sales to medical, aerospace, semi-conductor, and fluid management industries is an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years in a management-level position responsible for overseeing business development activities
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications is a plus
