Who we are looking for

Hydroleap is seeking a Junior Business Development Representative, based in Johor Bahru, to join our team and focus on developing new business opportunities within specifically the booming data center sector. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will possess strong communication and analytical skills.

Training and feedback will be provided.

What you will be doing

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the data center market in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
  • Utilize a streamlined proposal process to create compelling and effective proposals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients in Johor Bahru.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business development in the water/wastewater industry or at least in B2B industrial equipment sales.
  • Comfortable with technical sales, with a sound understanding of how technology meets customer needs.
  • Must possess the ability to be thorough and extremely analytical.
  • Comfortable and experienced in doing research on organizations and performing cold calls to all levels of an organization.
  • Strong listening, presentation, and written skills, including over-the-phone or online meetings.
  • Self-starter with the ability to organize work, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to travel at any time.
  • Preferably with a valid driver's license of class 3.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
