Business Development Executive / Manager
  • Responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for the company within the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) sector.
  • Look for new business opportunities with current customers and current industrial or penetrate new business opportunities in current market.
  • Daily interaction with customers via significant amount of telephone calls and face-to-face communications.
  • Developing and coordinating both commercial and technical proposals.
  • Liaise with customers and engineers on technical clarifications, and commercially negotiate the terms and conditions of the contracts.
  • Responsible for debt collection targets and follow up on overdue debts.
  • Meet and exceed given sales targets and goals.
  • Proactively establish relationships with business partners and understand how partners expect you to support them.
  • Involve and support marketing campaigns such as trade shows, presentations, exhibitions, demonstrations, seminars, etc. organized by the company.
  • Further develop relationships with clients, focusing on understanding their requirements and building a joint set of qualification criteria.
  • Conduct background reading, interviews, and business analysis of prospects.
  • Post-sales support and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and assigned sales reports (Key Customer Visit Report, Weekly/Monthly Report, Sales Forecast, etc.).

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanical or related.
  • Min. 3 years working experience in sales and customer service field related to MEP.
  • Familiar with the industry leaders, international engineering companies, and design consultants in the designated region and industries.
  • Extensive sales and marketing experience in Malaysia or South East Asia with solid sales achievements.
  • Excellent presentation and marketing skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as engaging with the China market is essential.
  • Willing to travel; domestic and/or international.
