Practical Information:

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia | Reports to: ISV Sales Director | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Malaysia | Language Requirements: Professional level English written and verbal | Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Our new Channel Account Manager will drive sales through partners, resellers, and system integrators. Focusing on the Azure business, your role focuses on building strategic relationships to expand market reach and revenue. We seek passionate, motivated individuals eager to excel in a dynamic environment as our team continues to grow.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Lead partner recruitment and onboarding efforts, managing ongoing relationships and expanding account potential
  2. Develop and implement channel account plans and sales strategies, regularly monitoring and analyzing partner performance
  3. Drive lead generation activities, including cold calling, opportunity management, follow-up, and CRM maintenance
  4. Support the team in generating leads, executing marketing campaigns, and post-event follow-up
  5. Conduct sales enablement sessions with partners, discussing how Crayon's services and vendor portfolio can benefit them

Your Competencies:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, ideally in IT software or cloud sales, with 3+ years in channel sales
  2. Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing and the competitive landscape, with knowledge of Azure an advantage
  3. Ability to effectively articulate digital transformation concepts and strategies
  4. Demonstrates excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for driving successful outcomes in complex technical environments
